02/24/10 Birthday? Nautical Nursery, 37 Weeks

It has been two weeks since we last talked and I wanted to give you a quick update on life, the universe and everything! First and foremost I am a growing, kicking boy with a strong heart beat. All systems are go! I’ve dropped low and am head down ready to meet you. The doctor and Mommy are talking publicly about my potential Birth Day. Well, as if you could plan these things ahead of time even with a c-section. We are eying the 10th of March for my grand arrival. Hard to tell if I can wait that long as Mommy is already starting to experience real contractions. The first goal, according to Doctor Rost, is for me not to arrive any sooner than March 1st. He has put Mommy on some medication to slow those contractions right down. The second goal is to make it to 38 weeks which is March 4th. Any day after that is fair game!!!

02/07/10 Extreme Room Makeover, 35 Weeks

I now weigh 5.3 lbs and the weekly doctor visit told me I am doing great! But enough about me, I am happy to report that my Daddy has been busy getting my room ready. He has managed to build me a crib and a changing table. I understand my big brother Zachary, happily donated his former nursery furniture to me. Isn’t that so sweet? My Mommy has started a nautical sailor theme and the decorations are coming along nicely.

01/29/10 I Score My First 8 out of 8, 33 Weeks

Mommy took me to the doctor this week for my 33 week check up. Man is Mommy’s doctor nosy. He is measuring my head, measuring my abdomen, and even my thigh bone! Believe it or not, this doctor checks for eight different things to make sure I am doing well. All that silly computer told them is I am right on track for 33 weeks old and healthy as can be. I could have told them that if they would’ve just asked.
