Losing My #2 Tooth

Of course you have to read Losing my #1 Tooth Part 1 & 2. Because it really starts out the same way and if you haven’t read part 1 & 2 here is a summary: I was at Souper Salads and Grandpa Roland checks out my mouth and says it would probably (which was not in the post) have to get pulled. So it ended off at when I got my 1st tooth out, but what happened to the 2nd tooth? Well here is the answer below:

So, it starts off where it ended with the last post which was when I got the 1st tooth out. Once my first tooth came out the second tooth was still in my mouth and we had a dentist’s appointment planned that day! I love Dr. Davis and I really wanted to go there to see how much time we had until I really did have to get that tooth pulled!

When we got to Dr. Davis‘ office I was sent to the Orange Room (which is the only room with 2 seats) for me and Caitlyn. I’ve already forgotten why she was there but she just was. I was surprised at the end of my cleaning, when Dr. Davis said “…and you have 6 weeks to get that tooth out…” and I felt like “I can totally get that tooth out in 6 weeks,” in my head. So I just said “Ok.”

We waited for 6 whole weeks and the tooth didn’t come out! I said to myself “How could this be? I have been wiggling that tooth, how come it is not coming out?” and of course, at the end of each and every week mom kept saying “Zachary, if you get that tooth out then we would not have to spend $160 for your tooth to be pulled.”

The next day I woke up, put my finger up to the tooth and pulled it back out. What was on it? Blood. I knew the day had come! I was so exited that I went to mom and told her. After that it went loose and I spit it out! It had come out and mom called Dr. Davis to tell him and he said “That’s ok that it was a day late. And congratulate him.”

So, it was a great, I mean GREAT story. I thought that I would of had to get it pulled at the end and it startled me but it turned out I was wrong.

Zachary,

I see you are experimenting with bold in this post. Good job. Don’t forget that bold is used to highlight a few things, not too many in the post.

By the way, don’t worry about your teeth, they’ll come out one way or another–most of mine had to be pulled. Just FYI.

Love,
Daddy
